Business intelligence books (bi books) which refer to business intelligence software are rare. There is only a very small market for them and they can be hard to find, especially as each individuals business software is so different from ever other businesses software.
Business intelligence books contain information and ideas about how bi software can be extremely useful for your business. These books give insights into how you can make your IT solutions last longer and cost a lot less in their development stages.
This is a great example of a niche market. A niche market is a market that is very focused on one specific topic (one niche). By becoming an expert in a niche and by being better than all competition in that niche you can make a lot of money. Large companies have products and services that are a mile wide and one inch deep. They make a lot of money doing this.
Most businesses do not have the budget for this. Instead, they go an inch wide and a mile deep focusing on becoming an expert in that specific niche. You can do this with your small business, by being the best in a small market (as opposed to the worst in a large market) you can make a lot of money.
