Even the self-employed can get loans

Being self-employed has given me more control over my life, yet, the only time when I regretted it was when I decided to move out of my apartment and buy a house. Many companies rejected my loan applications because of my occupation, and that made me even wonder if I needed a job.
Thing is, after spending many years in the army, I couldn’t adjust to any job easily, and with my age, it was hard for me to change my habits as quickly as younger men. While desperately trying to find a way out of my misery, I stumbled on VA Loan ‘s website. With this service’s VA purchase mortgage loan, I knew I was on the right track.
One of the reasons I decided to try was the fact that VA Loan catered for veterans. Plus, with the help of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, loans offered for buying houses had much relaxed guidelines in comparison with the ones I tried to apply for before.
With no down payments and hardly any closing costs, I managed to buy the house I wanted, and with this new home ready for me to move into, I can’t help but thank VA Loan for everything it has done.
